Prof. Sarat Kumar Swain, FRSC, is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Sambalpur, Odisha, India. He has been serving as a professor since 16th September 2011. With an extensive teaching career spanning 27 years and 24 years of post-Ph.D. research experience, Prof. Swain has made significant contributions to the field of Chemistry. He has successfully supervised 19 Ph.D., 4 M.Tech., 14 M.Phil., and 48 M.Sc. theses. His impressive research credentials include 144 research publications in reputed journals, 2 patents, 7 authored/edited books, 50 book chapters, 3 chapters in encyclopedias, 5 popular scientific reports, 1 monograph, and 80 conference presentations. He has an H-index of 36, an i10-index of 112, an average journal impact factor of 5.18, and has received over 4300 citations. Prof. Swain has also successfully handled 4 major research projects. In recognition of his contributions, he has received several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Samanta Chandrasekhar Award (2015) by Odisha Bigyan Academy, INSA S R Fellowship (2013), DAE Young Scientist Research Award (2008), JNCASR Visiting Fellowship (2007), BOYSCAST Post-Doctoral Fellowship (2004), Prof. R.
