About Lab
The Nanotechnology Research Laboratory at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, was established in 2011 under the guidance of Prof. Sarat Kumar Swain. Since its inception, the lab has been a hub for cutting-edge research, particularly in the synthesis and application of nanomaterials. The research conducted here emphasizes eco-friendly and sustainable approaches. Ph.D. scholars working in the lab explore a broad range of areas, including biomedical applications such as drug delivery, glucose sensing, amino acid detection, and wound healing. Beyond biomedical fields, ongoing projects also address challenges in energy storage, biodegradable packaging, and dye removal from wastewater. Many scholars have successfully completed their doctoral studies, making significant contributions to the advancement of nanotechnology.
